***Family friendly pop-up classes!!!!***
Join me on March 15 for FOUR sessions (10-12pm, 12:30-2:30pm, 3-5pm, 6:30-8:30pm) where you can make a honeycomb 🐝 out of stained glass!!! Each ticket purchased gets you a seat at the table to create a stained glass honeycomb sun-catcher. If you and another person in your family want to each make a project, then you each need a ticket. This set of pop-ups has YOUR family in mind! The YWCA will be providing childcare 🧒 during the daytime sessions from 10-5 pm! If you would like to attend and give your kids something to do during the session, there are two spaces dedicated to our youth. One space is for children up to 12 years of age right next door to the event, and youth 12 years and older have a separate space to hang out! We will also be having one session that is adult-only in the evening (6:30-8:30pm), and no childcare will be provided for that event. Thank you for your understanding! $30 from each ticket sold goes towards supporting the YWCA.
In this class you will learn to select coloured pieces of glass that are pre-cut to create your own unique flower sun-catcher. You will learn how to use copper foil and a soldering iron. Please bring a separate pair of indoor shoes with a closed toe. We are working with molten metals, so wear clothing you don't mind getting a bit messy!
The classes will take place on March 15, 2025. There are 6 slots available per class. All materials and use of tools tools are included with your purchase. There are no refunds for this class, once you have purchased a ticket you cannot request for the money back as I use the funds from the tickets sales right away to gather supplies. Thank you for your understanding!
$30 from each ticket sold goes towards supporting the YWCA. The YWCA offers a wonderful variety of supports to our community, and is an important third space and even home to many folks in our city. Please consider donating directly to them as well as by supporting this fundraiser! You can find out more about their work at https://ywcaregina.com/
